Registration Information
League registration begins July 1st. The cost is $45 per quizzer. This fee includes the league season and District Finals. Early registration ends October 1st. After October 1st, a late registration fee will be added and the new price will be $55 per quizzer. The last day any team may register is January 1st.
Team Names
Please consider individualizing team names even if your church only has 1 registered JBQ team. We will still recognize the name of your church.
League Information
Each league is responsible for coordinating event locations. Teams should contact their league coordinators for season competition dates, question set ranges, locations, etc. All leagues follow the National JBQ Guidelines and the Pen Florida District Guidelines.
Officials
Each Champion and Contender division team is required to bring 2-trained officials. Each XP5 and XP5+ division team is required to bring 1 trained official. Teams who do not bring the required number of certified officials at ANY point throughout the season, league or district quizzing, will be disqualified from the event.

pEN fLORIDA DISTRICT FINALS 2027
After the traditional league season concludes in February, district-level quizzing begins. District level quizzing involves the entire Pen Florida District, including all leagues and divisions in Junior Bible Quiz and Teen Bible Quiz.
District Finals is a district-wide competition in which all teams and all divisions (Champion, Contender, XP5+, and XP5) from the Pen Florida District gather to compete. Teams are placed into squads, or levels, based on their cumulative win/loss ranking throughout the traditional league season. The top 4 teams in Champion and Contender will receive an invitation to compete at the Southeast Regional. The tenative date and location for the Pen Florida District Final is April 10, 2027 at Southeastern University.
REGIONAL & NATIONAL LEVEL QUIZZING
The Southeast Regional is a competition in which teams compete against other teams from across the Southeast Region. These teams are from Pen Florida, West Florida, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Teams play a full round robin. The top teams from the Southeast Regional will receive an invitation to the National Festival. The 2027 Southeast Regional date and location are to be determined.
The National Festival is a week long competition in which 40 teams across 8 regions compete together. In addition to quizzing, teams enjoy fellowship with one another via breakout sessions to learn and grow together in God’s Word. The 2027 National Festival date and location are to be determined.
